Conditioning SystemsDC Series rotary disc mower conditioners allow you to spread out crop in wide swaths or to custom build windrows, ready for baling or chopping. And you'll bale or chop sooner, thanks to superior conditioning systems that provide for faster drydown.
The torsion-bar design applies equal force to the upper conditioning roll arms for uniform conditioning, regardless of crop thickness.
Intermeshing spiral conditioning rolls feature superior crimping and crushing action.
Rubber-on-rubber conditioning rolls are standard on the DC92, DC102, and DC132.Rugged steel-on-steel rolls (standard on the DC162, optional on DC102 and DC132) easily handle higher crop volume and faster grounds speeds while delivering longer life.Flail Conditioning Now Available!
Flail conditioning, available on all four models, uses tapered flails to pick up crop and rub it together and against the conditioning board. Drydown is much faster because the waxy layer on the stems is removed and moisture is released quickly.
Flails release crop more easily than competitive systems to produce a thinner, more uniform crop mat that lays on top of the stubble. The result: better air circulation and more thorough drying.
