FHX300 Pull-Type Forage HarvesterGet your crop out of the field and into the silo faster than ever with the rugged Case IH FHX300 pull-type forage harvester. The 1000-rpm driveline, heavy-duty components and wide crop heads allow you to harness big-tractor horsepower (up to 300 hp) and turn it into high-capacity harvesting performance.
The wide, 24.4 in. (620 mm) throat opening swallows your heaviest crops. The feedrolls move material smoothly and evenly into the rugged, 21-in.-diameter, 12-knife cutterhead. Hardened alloy knives span the full width of the cutterhead and chop evenly and efficiently. This uniform length of cut converts your crop into high-quality feed, and makes blowing, storage and feeding easier.
The powerful 1000-rpm blower moves crop quickly to fill wagons and trucks fast, whether you’re working in wet, heavy hay, or an easy-to-blow crop like corn.
Electric remote controls allow you to rotate the spout 160 degrees. You also control the FHX300 feedrolls, crop heads and standard hydraulic tongue swing right from your tractor seat.
The Case IH metal detector is standard equipment on the FHX300. It delivers added piece of mind by protecting both the cutterhead and your cattle.
An optional onboard crop processor saves time and cost by chopping and processing corn in one operation. The processor shears cobs and stems and also cracks and crushes corn kernels, resulting in better fermentation and more effective fiber.
Hinged shielding lifts easily for fast inspection, adjustment and lubrication of internal components.
The heavy-duty transfer auger moves crop swiftly from the cutterhead to the blower.
Optional tandem axle improves flotation in muddy conditions and provides for smoother travel over rough ground.
A selection of PTO-driven cropheads includes two windrow pickups and one corn head. PTO shaft drive improves reliability and allows for easy head hookup and removal.
